Research on Epidemic Situation of Classical Swine Fever Virus in Swine Farms

Abstract: o investigate epidemic situation of classical swine fever virus (CSFV) in Guangxi, 1626 serum samples of pigs collected from 6 swine farms, were examined by using ELISA technique. The results revealed that 6 pig farms had infected CSFV in Guangxi.The population of positive rate of CSFV in different ages of pigs, such as sow, boar, fattening pigs, weanling piglets,were 7.86% to 29.12%,0% to 23.52%,5% to 22.45% and 8.24% to 18.57%,which averaged at 17.52%,11.83%，15.5% and 12.69% respectively.The serological detection results were correspondence with those of epidemiologic investigation in farms.Most sick pigs showed the clinical symptoms in the type of reproductive syndrome or mild syndrome of CSF in Guangxi.
